Libra Travel operates coaches, buses and minibuses in the South West supplying local bus services and school transport.
Libra Travel is a family run business that operates from the small village of Chilcompton, Somerset, supplying services for Somerset County Council, West of England Combined Authority and Wiltshire Council. Vehicles are maintained to the highest standard to ensure safety and reliability.
Updates
Bus Services
669 - We have updated the timetable to improve our punctuality. The time changes are no more than 10 minutes and only reflects the actual running time of the bus. Date effective 02.09.2024. View our timetable for more info.
31 - We have made changes to our AM journey running a few minutes earlier Bruton onwards. PM will run 10 minutes earlier on from Sexys School onwards. Leaving the Sexys School stop at 16:05. Effective from 02.09.2024. View our timetable for more info.
The following services are part of the government funded £2 fare cap - 184, 668, 519, 649, 669, X84, X85, 39 & 94
X84, X85, X88 & 39 Wiltshire shoppers trips - We will start operation of these services from 05/09/2023. Timetables and Fares will remain the same as the previous operator Faresaver.
COVID-19
Due to the enclosed environment when travelling on a bus we advise you to use hand sanitiser and wear face coverings especially if you are vulnerable. However we do not require face coverings to be worn.
